Introduction
My Yoga and Naturopathy Journey – Sometimes life changes direction without warning. In 2008, I suddenly began experiencing strange health symptoms that I could not understand. I often felt light-headed, dizzy, and uncomfortable in ways that were difficult to explain. It created fear and uncertainty in my daily life.
At that time, I had limited medical knowledge, so every new symptom felt serious. My condition affected my peace of mind so deeply that I preferred staying close to a hospital, just in case I needed urgent medical help.
This difficult phase eventually became the reason I entered the world of yoga and naturopathy. Read more about me.
My Yoga and Naturopathy Journey – The Search for Answers
Like most people, my first step was medical consultation. I visited specialists and underwent multiple tests at a reputed hospital. These included scans, blood tests, and other investigations.
After all the examinations, no major issue was diagnosed. Yet the symptoms continued.
That was one of the most confusing parts of the experience. Reports were normal, but I still did not feel normal.
Many people who go through unexplained symptoms can relate to this emotional struggle. When answers are unclear, anxiety often becomes as difficult as the symptoms themselves.
Turning Toward Natural Healing
When conventional reports did not give me clarity, I decided to focus on natural health practices and lifestyle support.
I started taking:
- Amla juice on an empty stomach in the morning
- Aloe vera juice in the morning
At the same time, I began practicing pranayama daily by following guided sessions on television.
My routine was approximately 35 minutes:
- 5 minutes Bhastrika
- 15 minutes Kapalbhati
- 15 minutes Anulom Vilom
This became an important turning point in my life.
My Yoga and Naturopathy Journey What Changed in Two Months
With regular practice and consistency, I gradually noticed major improvement.
Within about two months:
- The light-headedness and giddiness reduced significantly
- Earlier recurring discomforts improved
- Frequent sneezing became manageable
- My breathing-related issues also improved over time
- I began feeling more confident and stable again
The biggest change was not only physical—it was mental. I started feeling hopeful.
Lessons I Learned
This experience taught me some valuable lessons:
1. Consistency Matters
Small daily practices can create meaningful change over time.
2. Breath Has Power
Pranayama helped me feel calmer, stronger, and more balanced.
3. Natural Habits Support Health
Simple routines like mindful breathing and better morning habits can make a difference.
4. Healing Is Personal
Every person’s body and journey are different.
A New Path Began
What started as a health struggle eventually became a life path.
My interest in yoga kept growing, and later I pursued a Yoga Teacher’s Course at The Yoga Institute, Santacruz. That was the beginning of a deeper journey into understanding health, discipline, and holistic living. Over time, yoga became more than a remedy for me—it became a disciplined lifestyle supported by regular practice and training.
