Introduction
Avidya aur Samyam ka aapas mein kya rishta hai? Bachpan se humne suna hai ki bina galti ke maar khana hi zindagi hai, lekin thoda bade hone par samajh aata hai ki hum asli maar kisi aur wajah se kha rahe hain. Hum apni rozmarra ki zindagi mein sirf ek 50gm ki jubaan (tongue) ko satisfy karne ke liye pure 70kg ke shareer ko beemariyon aur takleefon ka uphaar de dete hain.

1. Avidya Kya Hai? (Patanjali Sutra 2.5)
Avidya aur Samyam: Maharishi Patanjali ne Sadhana Pada (Sutra 2.5) mein likha hai:
अनित्याशुचिदुःखानात्मसु नित्यशुचिसुखात्मख्यातिरविद्या
Iska seedha sa matlab hai—jo temporary (anitya) hai, impure (ashuchi) hai, painful (dukha) hai, use permanent, shuddh aur sukhdayi maan lena hi Avidya (Agyan) hai. Avidya hi baki ke char kleshon (Asmita, Raag, Dvesh, Abhinivesh) ki janani hai.

Example A: Chatpata Khana aur Acidity ka Uphaar (Ashuchi mein Suchi)
Avidya aur Samyam: Jab hum baahar ka tala-bhuna, masaledaar junk food dekhte hain, toh hamari 50gm ki jubaan machal uthti hai. Jab tak woh nivala muh mein hai (sirf 2-3 second), humein lagta hai yahi asli sukh hai. Lekin pet mein jaate hi jab acidity, gas, jalan, aur kabz shuru hoti hai, tab samajh aata hai ki jise humne sukh samjha tha, woh toh asal mein dukha aur ashuchi (unhealthy) tha.
Example B: Paisa aur Loot Jaane ka Darr (Anitya mein Nitya)
Avidya aur Samyam: Hum din-raat paisa kamane ke peeche bhaagte hain ki yeh humein permanent sukh dega. Lekin sachai yeh hai ki paisa anitya (temporary) hai. Use kamane mein tanaav aur hamesha uske loot jaane ka darr bana rehta hai. Jo cheez darr paida kare, use hum Avidya ke kaaran ‘Nitya Sukh’ maan baithte hain.
2. Aag ka Post-Mortem: Fire is a Good Slave, but a Bad Master
Avidya aur Samyam: Aapne aksar dekha hoga ki paani do aisi gason ($Hydrogen$ aur $Oxygen$) se milkar banta hai, jinmein se ek khud jalti hai aur dusri jalne mein madad karti hai. Phir bhi dono milkar aag bujha deti hain! Yeh prakriti ka santulan (balance) hai.
Aag ke baare mein ek purani kahawat hai—“Fire is a good slave, but a bad master.”
Jab tak aag chulhe mein hai, hamari rasoi chalti hai. Lekin jaise hi woh niyantran se baahar hoti hai, sab kuch bhasm kar deti hai. Hamari jubaan aur hamara krodh (gussa) bhi bilkul aag ki lapat (flame) ki tarah hain. Flame kuch nahi, balki impurities (ashuddhiyon) ka jalna hai. Agar hum apne andar ki in impurities ko niyantrit nahi karenge, toh yeh hamare pure 70kg ke shareer ko jala degi.
3. Solution Kya Hai? Bhagavad Gita aur SAMYAM
Avidya aur Samyam: Is bimari aur dukhon ke chakra se bachne ka sirf ek hi rasta hai—SAMYAM (Control/Balance). Sukhi vahi hai jisne apni jubaan par kabu paa liya—khane mein bhi aur bolne mein bhi!
Bhagavad Gita ke Adhyay 6, Shlok 17 mein Bhagwan Shri Krishna ne isi santulan ko samjhaya hai:
युक्ताहारविहारस्य युक्तचेष्टस्य कर्मसु ।
युक्तस्वप्नावबोधस्य योगो भवति दु:खहा ॥ १७ ॥
Iska Saadhutva: Jiska ahaar (khana) aur vihaar (rehna-ghumna) santulit hai, jiske karam aur sone-jaagne ka samay nishchit hai, uske saare dukh aur beemariyan is ‘Yukta’ (Samyam) ke raste se nasht ho jaati hain.

Avidya aur Samyam: Pehle ke samay mein log beemar kam isiliye hote teh kyunki unka jeevan ‘Do as Directed’ (Prakriti ke niyamon ke anusaar) chalta tha. Pehle hum ghar mein khate the aur baahar nikalte the, lekin Aaj hum baahar khate hain aur ghar mein nikalte hain, jisse dharti ma ka natural cycle toot gaya hai. Agar humein 70kg ke shareer ko swasth rakhna hai, toh 50gm ki jubaan par Avidya aur Samyam ka sahi tol-mol bithaana hoga. Sukhi wahi hai jo swad aur samvaad (bolne) dono mein samyam rakhe.
